Monday 30th November Update
Nov 30th, 2009 by lcsgrade4
Hopefully, you have finished all of last week’s assignments (see Wednesday’s Update), ready to hand in as soon as we are back. Here is your language work for today:
Real Spelling
It is on Real Spelling, investigating the word erupt. Try and apply what we have been doing in class to work out the prefixes, suffixes and base words.
We are sure by now you have finished your homework from last week. Here is this week’s. We know you don’t have all the sheets, but you should be able to start the notes (B), or the survey (I), or the discussion (C).
Homework30Nov
Here are the (E) Pizza Problem sheets. One is a WORD document and the other is a PDF. Hopefully you will be able to open one of them:

Book Review Tip
We’ve noticed that some of you haven’t posted your book review yet. If you can’t use your parents’ email to post your book review, you can use your Lincoln one, which is your first initial and last name e.g. spickles@lincoln.edu.gh or ntownsend@lincoln.edu.gh
Good luck. Let us know if you have any questions.

Wednesday Update
Nov 25th, 2009 by lcsgrade4
Hope you are all doing well with the work. As you know, Thursday and Friday are now both holidays. However, we expect you to have completed the following for the first day back at school (although we realise that a lot of you have done even more!):
* Posted your book review on the blog ‘Book Review’ page
* Written a first draft of your report on earthquakes, volcanoes or tsunamis
* Completed the two weekly homework packet that is due in this Friday
Both classes will have a 50 fact multiplication test when we get back, so keep practising to beat your last score.
4B will have their end of unit 3 Maths test when we get back to school, so be sure to revise.
Thanks to all those of you who have made comments. Keep them coming!
Enjoy your long weekend.
Miss Pickles and Mr Townsend.

Here are some activities for you to do to keep up with your school work. Try to do at least an hour of maths, an hour of writing and 45 minutes of reading each day. Don’t forget to do your homework too! This is also a great opportunity to learn your times tables. If you have any question or comments, click on ‘comment’ at the end of this post.
If you know of a classmate who doesn’t have internet access, maybe you can contact them and let them know!
Maths
Practise your multiplication and division facts. Use the links on the maths page.
